In Londen zijn de voor de 42e keer de Golden Joystick Awards uitgereikt. Grote winnaar is Black Myth: Wukong die won in de categorie ‘Ultimate Game of the Year', daarnaast won de game ook een award voor ‘Best Visual Design'. Helldivers 2 en Final Fantasy Rebirth VII hebben elke vier rewards in de wacht gesleept. Meer dan 125 games, studio's, hardware en tv-programma's zijn vertegenwoordigd in 21 categorieën waar het publiek op heeft gestemd.
